12-14" Fish
Season as desired. Pat on a little butter.
Wrap in tin foil Bake @ 350 for 20-25 min. (or put on the bbq, med. heat,15 - 20 min.)
** If you cook fish with the head and tail on it will stay moist.
Trout Cakes
2 Cups of cooked fresh boned trout
½ cup fresh chopped onion
½ cup chopped mushrooms
1 tbl spoon garlic
2 fresh small eggs (or 1 lg)
2 tbl spoons mayonnaise
Mix to the consistency of tuna fish. Cook on griddle or fry in pan until golden brown. For spread, leave out eggs & add minced Jalapeño to taste.
